Pharmacists and Nursing Officers can prescribe Limited Medicines According to NMC in Future:
Cabinet cleared an Amendment in the National Medical Commission Bill which will allow Mid-level Health Care Workers like Pharmacists and Nursing Officers to prescribe certain drugs for primary and preventive healthcare.
New Amendment coins a new term Mid-level Medical Practitioners who will get a limited license from the NMC to practice Medicine.
In Past Only MBBS Doctor has a right to prescribe medicines for the patients but Now We might get this power of prescription in hands of Pharmacists, Nursing Officer, and Optometrists, etc.
Pharmacists have a Diverse knowledge of Drugs and Medicines.

According to the New Policy of NMC, there are certain changes in the Health care system of India:
- Now, Students who have studied Medical from Other Countries and Students who have done Studies in India, both have to clear One Exam to Practice in Fields and hospitals.
- Now, Medical Colleges Seats and Fees will Improve which will give More Doctors to our Nation.
