No physical examination, endoscopy, PET scan, MRI, or scan can detect the tumour. We talk about PET scans. It is positron emission tomography. A very small dose of a radioactive chemical called radiotracer is injected into a vein of your arm. This allowed doctors to see whether an organ or tissue is functioning or not.

The paper states participants of the trial with the mismatch repair deficient stage two and three rectal adenocarcinomas were given. The drug was called Dostarlimab. Every three weeks for six months, and none of the reports, at last, showed any sign of tumour.

According to New York Times, the medicine costs nearly $11,000 / 8.55 lakh per dose. Dostarlimab work by unmasking cancer cells, which in turn helps the immune system identify and destroy them. The Dostarlimab is injected into a vein. This medicine is injected slowly over 30 minutes. It is given every three weeks at first and then every six weeks.

Cancer treatment comes with side effects as well. This medicine can also cause nausea, constipation, anaemia, tiredness, etc. Dostarlimab is a drug with laboratory-produced molecules that act as substitute antibodies in the human body

Cancer was Believed to be one of the most difficult diseases to be cured. However, this clinical trial is now the first step in the cure of cancer. We know that medical advancement will surely cure every other disease too in the future.
